Our Founders

Martha Moon FNP-BC, APRN

Martha Moon is a seasoned Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience with 16 years of dedicated practitioner experience in occupational health, family practice, and emergency medicine. As an AANP-certified provider, she has built a distinguished career centered on the integration of clinical expertise with workplace safety and employee wellness.

Her leadership in occupational medicine is exemplified by her role in establishing and managing on-site medical clinics for major industrial projects, including the construction of a polyethylene plant in South Texas and turnaround operations for ExxonMobil/GCGV and LyondellBasell. Martha has overseen large-scale emergency response teams and coordinated 24/7 medical coverage for high-risk environments, demonstrating her ability to manage complex healthcare operations in industrial settings.

Martha’s clinical acumen is matched by her strategic insight into workplace health dynamics. She has cultivated long-standing relationships with primary care and specialty physicians across Corpus Christi and surrounding counties, enhancing continuity of care for employees. Her work includes developing pharmacy benefit plans that significantly reduced costs for self-insured companies, and implementing injury management protocols that minimized OSHA recordables and expedited return-to-work timelines.

As the founder of Bridge Occupational Medicine and Bridge Family Practice, Martha continues to provide comprehensive care to industrial and community populations. Her teaching roles as an adjunct faculty member and clinical preceptor for multiple Texas universities further reflect her commitment to advancing the field through education and mentorship.

Martha Moon’s career is a testament to the vital role of occupational medicine in promoting workforce health, safety, and productivity.
