Respirator Fit Testing (RFT) is essential for ensuring that employees who need to wear tight-fitting respirators can do so safely and effectively. Qualitative Fit Testing (QLFT): This pass/fail method relies on the wearer's sensory detection of an irritant or odor to determine if the respirator fits properly. It's typically used for half-face respirators, such as N95s.

Quantitative Fit Testing (QNFT): This method uses specialized equipment to measure the exact amount of leakage into the respirator, providing a more precise fit assessment. It's required for full-face respirators or when higher levels of protection are necessary.

Visual Acuity Tests measure how well a person can see details at various distances. They are essential for jobs that require precise visual tasks, such as reading fine print or operating machinery.
